DESCRIPTION: In order to improve the performance of our data processing platform, we will be reindexing a subset of existing alerts. This procedure may affect how quickly alerts are dismissed after a dismissal is initiated via the UI or API. This dismissal delay should not exceed one hour. These delays in alert dismissals are more likely to affect alerts that were created before October 10, 2021 During this process, alerts in your environment will be generated as normal and the rate of alert generation will not be affected. The maintenance will begin on October 21 and the expected duration is 15 days. The maintenance will be interrupted 1 PM EST to 3 PM EST, Monday through Friday, to allow for planned bulk dismissal of alerts as needed.
RECOMMENDED ACTIONS: If you are dismissing alerts from the web UI, continue to follow your workflows as normal. Your dismissed alerts may not reflect as dismissed in the platform for up to one hour. If you are dismissing alerts and need to review the results of the alert dismissal in a shorter period of time or are bulk dismissing several alerts, proceed with your alert dismissal workflows between the times of 1 and 3 PM EST Monday-Friday. During this period of time, the maintenance will be halted to allow for real time alert dismissals to occur. If you are dismissing alerts via the API, continue to process your dismissals as normal. If you are reviewing or confirming your alert dismissals via the API, your dismissals may not be reflected for up to one hour, unless the dismissals are executed between the hours of 1 and 3 PM EST Monday-Friday.
